Background
Morex 71 Ltd, is the oldest and most respected private NDT laboratory in Israel, accredited by ISRAC (Israeli Accreditation Laboratory Authority) according to ISO GUIDE 25 and other regulatory agencies. All the technical staff of Morex 71 - engineers and technicians - are certified to level III and level II according to ASNT requirements.
Morex 71 Ltd has been approved by the most important industrial and military customers, among them Israel Chemicals Ltd. Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd, The ministry of Defence (MoD), The israeli Navy, Israeli Air Force, Israel shipyards etc.
Following some examples of Morex's relevant work experience:
- Petrochemical Industry - General NDT inspection at Haifa and Ashdod oil refineries. During the construction of Ashdod oil refineries MOREX 71 and its staff was involved in all subsequent inspection and supervision of pressure vessels and pressure piping.
- Water Pipe Lines – General NDT inspections as required by the clients and /or standards.
Inspection is performed mostly for Municipal authorities or Companies dealing with water storage and transportation.
- Nuclear industry - Inspection of pressure vessels, piping and special components.
- Aerospace Industry - All the required NDT inspection according to manufacturer's specs for passenger and cargo A/C (by Boeing, McDonnel-Douglas and other), general aviation (i.e., Cessna, Piper, Foker, Beachcraft,) and all type of military A/C in service with Israel Air Force and with air forces of other countries.
- Shipyards - General NDT inspection of Dry Dock construction, partial inspection of boat and ship building.
- The Israeli Navy - General NDT inspection of hovercrafts, missile carriers, frigates, patrol boats and submarines, starting with the first submarine acquired by the Navy in the 1950s.
- Morex 71 performs the General NDT inspection of submarines during maintenance according to special specs for HY-80 steel.
Morex 71 Ltd. has been holding for the last 20 years training classes of NDT testing for NDT inspectors of The Israeli Navy. The syllabus of these tutorial classes was designed to conform to the Nave's special needs.
