Eddy current inspection uses electromagnet induction to detect flows in conductive materials. Imperfections at the tested specimen will affect the alternating current and will show up on the screen.
Applicable only on conductive materials.
This inspection can detect cracks, heat treatment changes, permeability changes, conductivity and materials classification.
